 My husband and I, and our pooch 🐕 stayed for 2 nights in this gorgeous cottage back in June. The cottage is in such a beautiful, quiet spot and is so close to the beach!
There is a huge front garden for the dog to run around, over looking the fells and the yard out the back looking out towards the sea. The cottage has been recently renovated and is beautiful inside. Such a cosy place for a relaxing break, you really have thought of everything. We were given such a warm welcome, with a tour of the cottage and so many great recommendations for local walks. Plus the yummy local bacon and sausage left for us. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay, we all had a great time and can't wait to come back ☺️ 

Absolutely loved my break at Miller Hill Cottage along with my 2 dogs, Perfect location for a peaceful hideaway minutes walk from a beautiful quiet beach and a short drive to all that the lake district has to offer.

The cottage itself was So lovely and well thought out, warm, cosy, with all the amenities you'd want, great very well equipped kitchen, all rooms very nice, clean and tidy, very large enclosed garden to the front and a smaller garden at the back(all surrounded by nice fields)

Cottage owner Carole was very lovely and was always happy to help and gave great advice when planning walks.The Welcome Hamper of local produce was a very nice welcome(and very tasty😊)

I will 100% be going back asap!! and it will now always be the first place I consider staying when thinking of holiday destinations.

  We had a fantastic 3 night break, Carole was so very helpful and nothing was any trouble... The cottage is a home away from home, as Carole has put a lot of thought and love into it.. Brilliant attention to detail through out the cottage,including a welcome food basket. We loved the fact it was doggy friendly, very close to the beach which was mostly deserted and surrounded by beautiful countryside. So peaceful and relaxing, we will definately be returning. We would like to wish Carole every success in her new business venture... she was the prefect host.  

 I recently had a 3 night stay at this cottage. The cottage is set in a quiet corner on the western side of the lake district. What a beautiful and stunning cottage! Tastefully furnished and decorated. Carole has made this place very welcoming. Everything that you need is thought of here. There is also a fantastic welcome pack waiting for you when you arrive. It has a large enclosed garden. Stunning views front and back of the cottage. Only a very short walk to a lovely, deserted beach. Me and my dog had a great weekend here. Hopefully, we will return again.

Enjoyed the DVD’s and games supplied- the best bit was the wood burner.

  We just arrived home after a 2 week stay in Miller Hill Cottage. Was absolutely wonderful. There is everything you need, including those things you may forget to take, like tea towels and washing up liquid. The owner Carole is very lovely and thought of everything she could to make sure that we had a good stay. She even bought a bike cover while we were there to protect our bikes. The area is outstandingly beautiful and we had good weather and so did loads of bikes rides and walking. The beach around the corner is usually mostly empty and long walks can be taken along it. The shop is a short drive away (cash only though) and is stocked with most things essential. We went to Tesco Millom to stock up on meals which is a bit further away. Most places locally are free parking as it isn't the most touristy area of the lakes. The cottage is comfortable and really quiet. The dogs next door are well behaved and don't cause any stress to someone like me who isn't a huge dog fan (they actually won me over!). This is a great place to stay for 2 people. Highly recommended.
